Summer 2020
Application Deadline: June 1, 2020

Holy Family College awards multiple scholarships each year, including the Lenore Landry Graduate Music Education awards, the Katinka Daniel Graduate Music Education Awards, and the Holy Family College Graduate Music Awards. These awards are available for Graduate Music students who have been accepted to either the Kodály Certificate program or the Master of Music in Music Education: Kodály Emphasis program.

A limited amount of scholarships are available annually, and students are encouraged to apply each year. To be eligible for an award, an accepted student must maintain full time status, have earned at least a 3.0 from their undergraduate institution, demonstrate financial need by completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) (complete this by May 1, 2020), not be receiving financial assistance from their employer and maintain a record of academic excellence at Holy Family College with a GPA of no lower than a 3.0.

To apply for a scholarship, please complete the following steps:

  1. FAFSA: Complete a FAFSA to demonstrate financial need. Visit www.fafsa.ed.gov for applications. If you have already applied this school year, you do not have to do it again. Please complete the FAFSA by May 1, 2020. Please note: You are not obligated to accept financial aid offered to you through FAFSA.
  2. Application: Submit your application online by June 1, 2020.
  3. Recommendation: One recommendation form is required to complete your application. Please have your recommender fill out an online recommendation form by June 1, 2020. You will get a link to the recommendation form once you submit your application.

Deadline: Your application must be complete — including the recommendation and the FAFSA — by June 1, 2020 to be considered for a scholarship. Late submissions may not be considered.
